The Five Spot: Cool Dudes, Ice Cream, And Hollywood's Sweetest Romance
I shouldn't have blogged about ice cream. I'm so hungry right now.
Welcome to The Five Spot, a Friday roundup where I run down my top five things from the week. Most of the entries will be about film and TV, but there might also be ones about weird local news or sandwiches I ate or anything else, really. The whole thing is an exclusive for paid subscribers, so if you want to get involved, you can do that by upgrading…
This week, we will discuss the following:
- Thoughts on War (the new HBO lawyer show, not the general concept of armed conflict between countries)
- A character death that wrecked me this week, weirdly
- Keith David rules
- Important news at the intersection of "good bosses" and "ice cream"
- Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys are freakin adorable
Off we go.
